Mauritius Withdraws From World Cup Qualifying

Mauritius, a tiny island nation located off the coast of Southeast Africa currently ranked 189th in the FIFA world rankings, has withdrawn from qualifying for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

The side was scheduled to face Liberia in two weeks time in the first round of African qualifying. Liberia now moves on to the second round and into group J, joining Senegal, Uganda and Angola.

No reasons were given for Mauritius withdrawal.
