North Korea Sputters to Win

North Korea picked up a crucial three points with a 1-0 home win over Tajikistan. Pak Nam-Choi was the lone goalscorer.

The goal came early on, in the 14th minute, when the central defender found the back of the net. It was his first international goal.

The win sees North Korea move off the bottom of the table while Tajikistan remains rooted down there with two losses in two games.

It does not get any easier for Tajikistan, they travel to Japan for the next match in October. North Korea hosts Uzbekistan in a critical encounter.
