After a dull 0-0 encounter with Puerto Rico, Saint Kitts and Nevis put a beating on Saint Lucia, defeating its group D opponent 4-2.
The match was all but a formality after the first 15 minutes. SKN struck three times during this period. First Ian Lake scored in the sixth minute followed by Mudassa Howe in the 12th. Joel Jeffers capped off the scoring spree in the 14th minute.
Saint Kitts and Nevis took a 4-0 lead when Devaughn Elliott was on target and the match was all but over.
Saint Lucia regained some pride with two second half goals. Teenage sensation Zaine Pierre scored in the 65th, and Cliff Valcin pulled another back late on.
This strong performance by SKN means they are still an outside factor in group D. Saint Lucia has conceded four goals in each of its first two games and remains at the bottom of the group. Match report
